As part of its Mediation and Digital Exploration Program, Vidéographe is offering a collaborative artistic program free of charge to young adults (18 to 25 years) from ethnocultural communities in partnership with community organization La Maison d’Haïti.
Over the course of 12 workshops, participants will collaborate to design and produce an immersive audio-visual work. This research and creation program, which addresses issues linked to creation and collective identity, will be made up of three stages: conceptualization, exploration/production, and post-production. The workshops will be led by professional Montréal-based artists selected for their ability to convey their knowledge and expertise. A range of areas will be covered, including screen writing, staging, directing, 360-degree video recording, sound design with digital tools, and video editing. The project will conclude with a public presentation of the works during which the participants will share their thoughts and discoveries.
Guaranteed to be a rewarding experience for those who are interested in learning about media arts!
