WORKSHOP

18-19 octobre 2025 - 10h-17h
Vidéographe – 4550 Rue Garnier, Montréal, QC H2J 3S7

$125 + Taxes

DESCRIPTION:

Do you want to run two videos on two different screens at the same time? Do you want to easily project your video onto a wall or object?  Do you want to include randomness in your installation? A two-day beginners workshop introducing artists to Isadora interactive video software and exploring how it can be applied to video installations.

Isadora is mainly used in the visual, interactive and performing arts, from installation to the design of projections for theater and dance. Benefiting from a very active community on help and development forums, this software is a simple, easy-to-understand tool.

In this introductory workshop, participants will learn about multi-channel video and screen setup, synchronization, real-time effects, scene structure, automation and randomization, adding control panels, basic projection mapping, basic interactive triggers, performance optimization, connecting to less common projectors and screens, and more!

PRICE: $125 + Taxes

*The workshop includes a one month subscription to Isadora.

*The training will be given in English.

Please note that the training room at Vidéographe is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Please note that LSQ and ASL interpreters can be arranged. If you would like an interpreter to be present, please contact Sonya Stefan before registering.
