Vidéographe and Artexte are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Match Cuts 1975.

Match Cuts 1975 is a call-and-response conversation between two collections. This combination of video and print documents selected from the holdings of Vidéographe and Artexte takes 1975 as a juncture around which the artist’s role and value to society was re-examined and redefined. The actions, words and voices of people working in the visual arts in 1970s Montreal are the points of contact linking the documents produced around this catalytic time.
